Frequently Asked Questions

For plans that offer coverage for adverse weather and natural disasters, if the plan is purchased after a storm is named, coverage is typically not provided for losses resulting from that named storm.

The plan will go into effect the day after purchase at 12:01AM. Any loss that occurs before that time will not be covered under the plan. If you are unsure of your effective date, you may still go through the claims process to determine if you are eligible for benefits.
